Exam success for PCF children
Exam results are back for all of our sponsored children. PCF is pleased to announce that five students took O’levels and they all did well, gaining passes in ten subjects each. Four out of the five passed in Division One.
Our best performing student has gone on to pursue A'levels at St. Henry's Kitovu, where he will join another student who is continuing from S4 at that school. The other three students will pursue A'levels at St. Joseph of Nazareth in Kampala. The school term began this week.
PCF extends congrats and well-wishes to all of our students, and thanks our sponsors for their on-going support!

News from PCF
Proteqt Children’s Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now officially registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Uganda. PCF Uganda will work closely with Community Transforming Network (CTN) in Kampala in its ongoing mission to assist the orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda.
Community Transforming Network (CTN) is a non-governmental organization committed to community sustainable development and systematic social change in Uganda. More information on CTN can be found here on their website www.ctnug.com
The next school term in Uganda, Term III, begins on May 14th, 2012.
We are also pleased to announce that we have a new addition to the PCF sponsorship programme. A nine-year-old boy from Haiti is the most recent child to be sponsored by PCF.
Many thanks to all our sponsors, donors and friends for their continued support and interest as we provide educational sponsorship for orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda and Haiti.

PCF's 2011 Annual General Meeting
A very special thanks to everyone who turned out for our 3rd Annual General Meeting last week. Among other things, some interesting ideas were generated. One specific point of discussion was the need for more consistent and effective fundraising beyond the traditional bake sales and flea markets.
We're pleased to say that coming from this particular discussion PCF has already carried out some very preliminary research, particularly in the area of online platforms whose goal is specifically to connect non-profits, social-change inititatives, and charity organizations such as PCF with persons willing to donate financially to these causes.
We promise to update you in due course on our findings.
Here is the agenda from last Saturday's meeting:
1. Prayers
2. Welcome & Introductions
3. Acknowledgement of Sponsors & Donors
4. Reading and Adoption of Minutes
5. Chairman's Report
6. Auditor's Report
7. Establishing a Powerful Online Presence
8. Presentation: Looking Beyond Self & Reaching out to Others
9. Any Other Business
10. Vote of Thanks
